We are fortunate in East Devon to have
a group of dedicated volunteer leaders who are willing to run weekly section meetings and take young people on trips and to
camp. However our aim continues to be to provide more young people in East Devon with the opportunity
to join Scouting and also provide more adventurous and exciting programmes. In order to accomplish these aims
we do need more help. Whether you have 2 hours per week or 2 hours per year your help will be most welcomed. You
don't need Scouting experience just a willingness and the enthusiasm to help our young people.
Some examples where we need help:
Section Leaders (Beavers,
Cubs, Scout and Explorers) - training provided
Qualified Activity Leaders (canoeing, climbing, first aid,
etc.)
Volunteers to help our groups (treasurers, secretaries, supporters, etc.)
Volunteers willing to
help maintain Scout premises (decorating, diy, etc.)
